Hi all! Today I will talk about one of my favorite bands: Coldplay.

Coldplay is a band that many of you know for sure, they are British and have been together since 1996. I remember when I first saw the video of "Yellow" on MTV and I hated it so much, everybody talked about how cool the video and the band were and I just thought "Cool? What's so cool about that sharp voice?" Haha. So it was not a love at first sight.

A friend asked me to give them a chance that they were really very good that they were not a simple band, so I listened to their first album "Parachutes". I remember that after a week I kept listening to them and suddenly I found myself loving the voice of Chris Martin (vocalist). By then they already had "A Rush of Blood to the Head." Their second album that has songs that brought them to fame as "In My Place" "Clocks" and the beautiful "The Scientist", this album became the seventh best-selling album of the 21st century.Then came "X an Y" their third album with songs like "Fix You", "The Hardest Part" and "Talk" very famous too. But for me the best was yet to come, in 2008 with the fourth studio album "Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends",  for me the intensity that this album has does not compare with any other. It is simply great. It is an album that has a lot of Hispanic influence and in fact its name is from a work made by Frida Khalo. It was the most sold album in 2008 and 2009.

Although from there the band has changed a lot their style, following influences a little more electronic and pop, I still find them great. The difference is that now I dance and jump with them, haha.
